John Founds Warren Fabricating
Field and Erection is Founded
The 1980s brought repair and fabricating mining equipment and replacement parts for draglines in the mining industry. In the early 1980’s Mr. Rebhan founded WARFAB Field and Erection, which did the installation and erection for our mining products. In 1985 he founded Ohio Steel Sheet and Plate, Inc. as the raw material source for Warren Fabricating. That steel service center developed into over 400 national accounts delivering steel to all 50 states. John and Susan’s two children, Eric and Regina Rebhan would enter the businesses in the late 1980’s learning various jobs both in the offices and the shop floors. Eric focused primarily on Ohio Steel Sheet & Plate’s inventory, production, and sales developments of the over 400 national accounts.

Regina’s main focus was the development of a Quality Management System and a devoted Quality Control Department, Warren Fabricating established itself with a global footprint, servicing customers like General Electric, Westinghouse/Siemens, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. In the early 1990s, Warren Fabricating invested in a new industrial complex in Hubbard, Ohio, and pursued a niche market in Heavy Steel Fabricating and Machining. Over the next two decades, Warren Fabricating invested in 150 ton crane capacity and 12 of the largest horizontal and vertical boring mills in the nation.
A New Generation
In 2008, Mr. Rebhan passed away, leaving the businesses to his son and daughter Eric Rebhan and Regina Mitchell. Both have over 25 years of experience in every department in both companies. Eric specializes in sales and steel purchasing and leading the sales teams to success. Looking Toward The Future
After twelve years of partnering equally with Warren Fabricating Corporation and Ohio Steel Sheet & Plate, Eric and Regina have decided to focus on an individual company they each have a passion for. Eric has always excelled at Ohio Steel Sheet and Plate, and Regina’s interest has always been in fabricating and machining at Warren Fabricating and a stock transfer was agreed upon between the siblings, giving each of them a controlling interest in the companies.
