Maintenance Technician - Afternoon Shift
$85,000-$100,000 A YEAR + $1500 SIGNING BONUS
Warren Fabricating & Machining Corporation, Hubbard, Ohio, is seeking an afternoon shift Maintenance Technician.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all fields of the equipment and buildings
- Maintains inventory of spare parts to repair and maintain machinery
- Maintaining records of any work and inspections done on-premises
- Keeping repair tools and supplies clean and organized
- Setting up repair appointments with mechanics or electricians when needed
- Retrofit and update and install machines to keep them current with production demands
- Responsible for the repair and maintenance of buildings and all mechanical equipment installed in the buildings
- Responsible for timely installation and upkeep of company property
- Maintains machinery, plans repair activity, and develops maintenance and preventative maintenance procedures and schedules
- Maintains all maintenance logs for equipment and machinery including cranes
- Follows health and safety policies are
- Monitors electrical and hydraulic systems in facilities are operating functionally
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and building systems
- Completing safety checks on systems and equipment
Abilities/Qualifications:
At least one year of experience in industrial maintenance
Ability to read electrical schematics
Must have experience in electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, carpentry repair and installations
Ability to identify solutions for improvement in cost and allocating resources
Ability to operate manlift and is not afraid of heights
Ability to follow safety instructions, proper use of PPE and attend safety training and apply to their job position
Reliable and trustworthy
Knowledge and operation of overhead cranes, torches, welding machines and shop tools
